(Music In Our Schools Month)
Since 1985 March has been National Music in Our Schools Month. ”The purpose of MIOSM is to raise awareness of the importance of music education for all children- and to remind citizens that school is where all children should have access to music.” (Missouri Music Educators Association)
Now is a critical time to support school music programs which are often most affected by administrative budget cuts. Visit the National Association for Music Education (NAFME) website for ideas on how to get involved.
